Marc Anthony Reflects on Fatherhood and Living in Las Vegas

Marc Anthony is set to embark on his first-ever residency in Las Vegas. This unique opportunity has led the Puerto Rican singer to reflect on his legacy as both an artist and a father. In a recent interview with Emegypt, Anthony expressed excitement about the upcoming performances at the Fontainebleau Hotel.

Residency Details and Performance Insights

Mark your calendars for February 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, as well as July 24, 25, 29, 31, and August 1, 2026. During these dates, Anthony will perform a show specifically designed for BleauLive at the Fontainebleau. Anthony highlighted the uniqueness of this residency, stating, “I have stadium and arena shows, but this is something different.” He intends to perform songs never sung live before, including rare duets and hit tracks in English.

The Fontainebleau Experience

Anthony chose the Fontainebleau for its six-star quality, excellent dining options, and vibrant nightlife. “It’s the best hotel I’ve seen on the Las Vegas Strip,” he stated. He promises a memorable live experience with a setlist featuring songs he hasn’t sung in over two decades.

Fatherhood and Family Influence

The singer welcomed his seventh child in June 2023, the first with his wife Nadia Ferreira. They married in January 2023. Anthony also has three other children from previous relationships, including Ariana, 31, and Chase, 28, with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado, Cristian, 24, and Ryan, 22, with ex-wife Dayanara Torres, and twins Maximilian and Emme, 17, with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.

Sharing insights about fatherhood, Anthony remarked, “Every time I prepare for a show, I think about what my kids would think if they were there.” He emphasized the sense of responsibility he feels as a parent, aiming to make his children proud. “Everything I’ve done has been with my family in mind,” he added.

Music and Legacy

With over 30 years in the industry, Anthony acknowledges a deeper appreciation for his music as he ages. “Creating music and celebrating it are different experiences,” he shared. He looks forward to reconnecting with his favorite songs during the Las Vegas shows.

Despite numerous accolades, Anthony shows no signs of slowing down. “I’m not stopping music. The world will see more from me, including new genres,” he confirmed. This residency will serve as a platform to showcase his musical journey while celebrating both past hits and new compositions.

Anticipation for the Upcoming Residency

As he prepares for his Las Vegas residency, Anthony is enthusiastic about the opportunity to perform “everything I really want to sing.” He aims to give his fans a unique glimpse into his artistic evolution. “It’s about showing what true artistry looks like, giving 100% on stage,” he concluded.
