Pokémon Legends Z-A Brings Back Hoenn Starter Mega Stones
Trainers globally are preparing for the exciting launch of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension downloadable content (DLC) on December 10th. This DLC promises a host of features, most notably the availability of new Mega Evolutions for beloved Hoenn starters.
Returning Mega Evolutions
As part of this new update, three notable Mega Evolutions will make their return: Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert. Each will come equipped with their associated Mega Stones, known as Sceptilite, Blazikenite, and Swampertite. However, it’s important for players to note that these stones can only be acquired through the Z-A Battle Club’s Ranked Battles.
Accessing Mega Stones
To obtain the Mega Stones, a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required. The stones will be made available in different Ranked seasons:
- Sceptilite: Available in Ranked Season 5
- Swampertite: Accessible in Ranked Season 6
- Blazikenite: Launching in Ranked Season 7
Interestingly, trainers do not need to purchase the DLC to get these stones. They will be available for all players.
Additional Features
The content update also hints at the appearance of these Pokémon within the Mega Dimension, although precise dates for the new Ranked seasons are still awaited. Moreover, players can look forward to a new Mystery Gift code that allows access to Alpha Charizard, capable of evolving into either Mega Charizard X or Y.
