Weekend Lakeshore West Service Modified by GO Transit for Track Work

GO Transit has announced modifications to its Lakeshore West Line service due to critical track work. This alteration will take place on Saturday, December 13, and continue until the end of service on Sunday, December 14.

Details of Service Modifications

  • Lakeshore West train service will operate all stops between Niagara Falls and Aldershot GO stations.
  • Trains scheduled to start or end at Confederation or West Harbour GO stations will not operate.
  • Replacement buses will be available at West Harbour, Aldershot, Burlington, Oakville, and Clarkson GO stations.

Alternative Transport Options

Passengers taking replacement buses will travel to Bramalea GO. From there, they can connect to eastbound services on the Kitchener Line heading to Union Station.

It is important to note that there will be no GO Transit service to the following stations:

  • Appleby
  • Bronte
  • Port Credit
  • Long Branch
  • Mimico
  • Exhibition

Customers traveling to or from these stations are advised to utilize the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) for their journeys.

Resumption of Regular Service

GO Transit plans to restore regular service for Lakeshore West Line users on Monday, December 15. Travelers should stay informed about these updates to ensure a smooth commute.
