East Vancouver Suspect in Triple Stabbing Faces Third Charge of Second-Degree Murder
A 54-year-old man has received a third charge of second-degree murder linked to a brutal triple stabbing in East Vancouver. This incident has drawn significant attention due to its tragic nature.
Details of the Incident
The primary suspect, Viet Quy John Ly, was arrested on September 5. He faces severe charges related to the deaths of two individuals:
- Jianghui Deng (55 years old)
- Chinxiu Yun (54 years old)
These victims were discovered deceased in an apartment complex close to the intersection of Joyce Street and Vanness Avenue.
Additional Charges and Victim
The latest charge against Ly stems from the death of Jinfeng Guan, aged 50. Guan was found severely injured in a residential building, located two blocks away from where Deng and Yun were discovered.
Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries on September 11 after being hospitalized. It’s worth noting that Guan was formerly married to the accused, Viet Quy John Ly.
