The Cleveland Monsters have been selected as the host team for the 2027 AHL All-Star Classic, following an announcement from American Hockey League President Scott Howson. The decision was made unanimously by the Board of Governors.

- AHL All-Star Challenge on the evening of February 8, 2027
All activities will take place at Rocket Arena in downtown Cleveland. Howson expressed enthusiasm about bringing this event to a city known for its historical connection to the AHL.
Historic Significance of Cleveland in AHL
Cleveland has a rich hockey history. It previously hosted the inaugural AHL All-Star event on February 3, 1942, and had further involvement during the 1954 and 1957 All-Star Games. This marks the city’s first opportunity to host the modern AHL All-Star Classic, established in 1995.

The historic Hotel Cleveland will serve as the Official Hotel for the AHL All-Star Classic. This location will provide convenient access between the hotel and Rocket Arena via an indoor walkway.
